Service questions that should be answered before shipping tools

Share the cylinder tonnage, stroke, number of cylinders, hose length, desired speed, available power source and whether the circuit is single-acting or double-acting. Pressure alone is not enough because the oil volume and cycle pattern often determine the practical pump choice.

Often yes, but the most useful evaluation includes the pump, hose, coupler and gauge that were used in the field. A cylinder that appears slow may actually be paired with a low-flow pump, a restricted coupler or oil that is contaminated.

Repair is usually worth reviewing when the frame, reservoir or cylinder body remains sound and the issue is a serviceable seal, valve, hose, coupler or gauge. Replacement becomes more practical when downtime risk, obsolete parts or load uncertainty outweigh the tool value.
